South Hedland Marquee Park

Work has commenced on South Hedland’s Marquee Park, in conjunction with Earthcare.

Funded by South Hedland New Living, BHP Billiton and the Shire of Port Hedland, the new public open space will include picnic and barbecue areas, playground equipment, kick-about areas and landscaped areas.

The park will also feature two water play areas with interactive water features designed for both entertainment and cooling with the aim to encourage people outdoors, despite the hot Pilbara climate.
