This building consists of office areas over 4 levels, an apartment, basement and ground level parking, and a roof level plant room. The leasable area is 3500m².
The building enveloped the site area, severely restricting site access. Access was available only from the Ord Street frontage and a narrow right of way at the rear.
Materials procurement was carefully programmed as all available area was taken up by site amenities. Materials were lifted by crane from Ord Street to landing platforms for each level. Works were frequently restricted to weekends only & required complete road closures.
Glass panels were installed when scaffolding could be dismantled as construction completed. This was an extremely delicate process which demanded added precautions.
