Diploma’s construction division currently has 10 projects underway in Western Australia and the United Arab Emirates valued at in excess of $300m and was recently awarded a $13.5m contract to refurbish a property located at 726 Hay Street in the Perth CBD. Details of the refurbishment include:
- Four level heritage listed building in prime retail location;
- Completed development will include 9,000m2 of retail and commercial space;
- The 90 year old facade will be conserved and repaired;
- Existing ground floor retailers will continue to operate throughout refurbishment;
- Work to commence November 2010 with completion in late 2011.
The construction division’s workbook extends beyond 2013 and the division continues to deliver quality outcomes on behalf of Diploma Properties and external clients on time or ahead of program.
