The Walters Drive Office Complex in Herdsman Lake is a new development, consisting of 3 levels of office space plus ground floor parking and a plant room to suit the 4.5 star green star energy rating of the development.
The building is a conventional in-situ concrete column, beam and slab structure with steel roof frame, suspended ceilings and light weight construction internally. A large area of glass and Alpolic sheeting help to achieve a very aesthetically appealing building.
The initial phase of the project included piling for stabilisation and straddling an existing sewer. Road closures were required when the natural ground was removed to a depth of up to 1.5m. The existing roadway was shored to prevent damage.
