| South Central is a complex of 20 commercial units with 900 parking bays in two separate buildings. It is located in the heart of the rapidly expanding southern corridor in Armadale Road, Jandakot.
The structure comprises concrete tilt-up panels with structural steel frame
supporting the trim deck roof.
The total nett lettable area is 30,000m2. Retail space is occupied by premier national retailers including Bunnings, Super Amart, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Bedshed, Forty Winks, Oz Design, Beacon Lighting and Ranger Camping.
To accommodate client leasing requirements, this project set an ambitious target for early completion. The Diploma team used a design and construct approach to enable site works to commence while preliminary designs were completed. As a result, the team met the target and the client was confident to lease the project ahead of schedule.
Diploma’s ongoing construction planning and programming allowed tenants
to commence internal fitouts before final completion, in time for peak
season trading.
