This project included construction of a restaurant seating 250 guests and the Duckstein Micro-brewery and wine tasting facility on Caves Road in Willyabrup.
Construction comprised a structural steel frame throughout, a custom orb roof and precast walls lined with feature stonework. Finishes include sheoak clad steel columns, feature stonework fireplaces with stainless steel and copper surrounds, ceilings lined with sheoak battens and floating pre-finished panels, imported Italian stone flooring, and a feature wall made from wine barrels inlaid with American oak inserts.
The high level of finishes and remoteness of location provided many challenges for the project team. The winery is one of the highest quality buildings delivered in this region.
