Durack 2 is a multi award winning commercial building. The 7200m2 five-storey commercial building overlooks Langley Park on the corner of Terrace Road and Victoria Avenue in Perth. Durack achieved a 6 star ABGR/Green star Energy rating and 5 star NABERS rating.
Durack has an integrated service core and plant room, a 2-storey reception foyer and a grey water treatment plant.
The Durack 2 innovative design includes elements not seen before in Western Australia. A fully automated louver system (controlled in conjunction with the mechanical system) spans the western façade to provide sun-shading and reduce solar heat gain. The building is also one of the first projects in Western Australia to use chilled beam heating and cooling.
